About National Conservation Day 2021
In order to increase awareness about the need for energy conservation, India has designated December 14 as National Energy Conservation Day. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), which is part of the Ministry of Power, is commemorating the day by holding a series of events to emphasize the importance of energy efficiency and how it may benefit both current and future generations.
The National Energy Conservation Day also recognizes India’s accomplishments in the sectors of energy efficiency and conservation, as well as the country’s efforts to minimize the effects of climate change.
The 14th of December is designated as National Energy Conservation Day in 2021. In 2001, India’s Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) established the Energy Conservation Act. Under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Ministry of Power will commemorate Energy Conservation Week from December 8 to 14, 2021. As part of the celebrations, Power CPSUs have participated in a number of activities.
The Energy Efficiency Bureau (BEE) is a constitutional organization that works under the Indian government to establish policies and initiatives to reduce energy use. The Energy Conservation Act of India aims to hire skilled, qualified, and dynamic managers and auditors with experience in policy-making, financial management, and project implementation in the energy sector.
