The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate-level position who is responsible for cooperation in the establishment and implementation of new or updated/latest application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and define necessary system enhancements using knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, as well as knowledge of other technical areas.
- Issues are identified and analyzed, and recommendations are made and solutions implemented.
- Problem-solving skills require knowledge of business processes, system processes, and industry standards
- The ability to analyze information, evaluate it, and make recommendations for solutions or improvements
- Write basic code for design specifications and perform testing and debugging.
- In situations not covered by procedures, assess the applicability of similar experiences and evaluate options.
- Develop an understanding of Citi’s information systems, procedures, and standards, as well as client-server application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data centre operations, and PC-based applications.

Qualifications Required/Eligibility Criteria
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field
- Programming and debugging experience with commercial apps
- Working knowledge of industry standards and best practises
- For application development, comprehensive understanding of a certain business field is required. Working knowledge of programming languages is also required.
- Demonstrates clear and succinct written and vocal communication on a regular basis.
- Core Java, relational databases, XML, and JIRA are all required skills.
